The owner, Mr. Paavo Hanhisalo, is a professional genealogist. He graduated from the University of Jyväskylä (Finland) in 1976, with an MA in Finnish History. With a long career in archives, Mr. Hanhisalo is thoroughly versed in genealogical research materials. He worked in the Provincial Archives of Jyväskylä 1973-75; in the Provincial Archives of Vaasa 1976-85; in the central archives of the Finnish Society for Sport History 1985-88; and in the National Archives of Finland in 1975-76, and again, as a superintendent from 1988 to 2001. Mr. Hanhisalo has been a full-time genealogist since 2002.
